
Beef Bone Broth
Classic Beef Bolognese

Ingredients
1 tbsp Olive Oil
500g Lean Beef Mince
1 Onion, Small Diced
2 Garlic Cloves, Crushed
1 Carrot, Small Diced
1 Celery Stick, Small Diced
2 tbsp Tomato Puree
400g Canned Crushed Tomatoes
250g OXO Beef Bone Broth
1 tsp Sugar
2 tsp Dried Oregano
Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper
Method
Step one
Heat olive oil in a non-stick saucepan over a high heat.
Step two
Fry the beef mince until browned, using a wooden spoon to break down the mince. Add the onion, garlic, carrots and celery.
Step three
Cook for a few minutes, add the tomato puree, mix well and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
Step four
Add the crushed tomatoes and pour in the beef bone broth.
Step five
Bring to the boil and stir well, gently simmer for 30 minutes until the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened.
Step six
Add the sugar and oregano.
Step seven
Taste and season accordingly.
Step eight
Serve with your favourite pasta and Parmigiano Reggiano.
